Crispy Homemade Onions Bhajis (v)(gf) ❤
Depending on the region in India, onion bhajis have a lot of different names including: onion pakora, onion fritter, kanda bhajia, kanda bhaji, and pyaz ke pakode to name just a few. So I think we will keep it simple and stick with calling them ‘onion bhajis’.
Thinly sliced onions are coated in a simple, spiced batter then cooked until crisp and golden. Because the recipe uses gram flour, which is made from ground chickpeas, they are naturally gluten-free. Also lactose-free and suitable for vegans. Serve as a starter with our delicious mint raita, or as a side dish to your curry main course.
Please note: because these are homemade the size and shape may vary.
Ingredients: onions, gram flour, salt, chilli powder, ground coriander, ground cumin, turmeric.
